Armadillo Method
We provide individual or group tutoring/instruction in the comfort and security of the student’s
home. Our tutors come to your home at a time that is convenient and conducive to learning.
Our scheduling times are convenient to parents - afternoons, evenings, weekends and summers.
We believe that one-to-one learning is the best way a student can keep pace with assignments.
Armadillo Tutors
Armadillo Curriculum
Our tutors will use the student’s classroom curriculum. Our tutors will help with the student’s
homework and prepare for examinations. In some cases a student may need supplemental
educational material. We provide tutoring for the TAKS subject tests, PSAT, SAT and ACT exams.
We also provide help to parents who are home schooling their children.
Armadillo Sessions
Armadillo Rates
Our standard fee is $45 per hour and charges are pro-rated on a quarter-hour basis.
We accept payment with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, money orders and personal checks.
Group sessions can also be arranged. We request a 24 hour advance notice for cancellations.

Armadillo Tutors
Our tutors are teachers, degreed professionals, college graduates, and exceptional college students who
have a passion for education. Our tutors have complete understanding of the subjects they teach and
more important, they know how to relate to students in a friendly and patient manner. Our hiring process
consists of interviews, transcripts, test results, and criminal background checks. We also expect our
students and parents to evaluate our tutors.

- In most cases, a tutoring session is 1-2 hours and the tutor comes 1-2 days per week. If students are in
the same class, group tutoring is recommended and highly successful. We expect students to be prepared
for the tutoring session, to complete work and to go to class. For the first session, our tutors will assess
the student to determine what needs to be focused on.
